We’re thrilled to be returning to the Seven Years War Convention in 2026.

Our two scheduled events will be a fictional 1806 scenario. Pickup games will be run in the afternoons based on interest and might be based in 1806, 1809, or 1812. The SYW Con is a pretty laid back convention so just stop by our exhibitor booth. Game sign-ups are on-site though an event list is expected to be published on the SYW Convention Facebook Group.

Introductory Games

Learn how to coordinate an army corps of several divisions across a vast Napoleonic battlefield, spoiler: Not easy. ESR focuses on the command & control and operational maneuver that sets you up for a decisive victory. It rewards careful coordination and reading of the developing battlefield. Use roads to control your subordinates’ routes of maneuver and force your enemy to conform to your plan. Remember: By the time the shooting starts the game isn’t over, but it is much later than you think.

Games for Experienced Players

You don’t have to be good at winning the game, you just need to remember the basics of how to play. It’s October of 1806. Frederick the Great is long dead and the junior officers of his great army are now its senior generals, plotting long marches through Saxony and awaiting news of war or peace with the French Emperor Napoléon. With the Prussian army strung out it attempts to reverse course to cover a potential threat against Berlin. Meanwhile Napoléon moves with great haste to intercede it.
