Product Description

Austrian ArmeeKorps (Mid-Late War) ESR Box Set

First appearing in the Mid War, the standardized Austrian ArmeeKorps functioned as a sometimes war-weary, but dependable Force. The conversion from helmets to shakos began in 1809 and was completed prior to the 1812 invasion of Russia. Austria, was a reluctant ally to Napoleon in 1812 and similarly hesitant to join the Coalition in 1813, seeking to be the spoiler in what would be the largest contest before World War I.

This Austrian Force includes everything necessary to assemble an Austrian ArmeeKorps for the Mid or Late War including chevaulégèrs/dragoons, and artillery.
