Hi fellow commanders,

I have just received my copy of "To Assure My Dynasty" campaign book, which I am thoroughly enjoying. However, as someone quite to ESR system, I wanted to ask whether there is a specific way of representing 1/2 battalions? For example, for the Battle of Medina De Rioseco there are three such instances of half battalions (two under Maceda's vanguard and one under Cagigal's division on page 18). Since each base represents a battalion, how do you represent half a battalion? Is it literally half the standard base or do you just ignore this?

On another topic, I have also noticed that the maps for the Battle of Rolica (pages 32, 34, 36) all display the village of Rolica as Ricola. Is this a typo?

Thanks in advance!

No, it is sometimes factored into the recommended Combat Rating [CR] depending on the relative performance of the Unit, but generally it is there simply as a notion for people using our Campaign Guides with other systems.

Yes, it is a typo.

Many thanks David for your quick reply! Having read the rulebook and now the campaign books, I can't wait to put this superb system to use soon!
