Hi All,
I have some questions on artillery:
1) formations comprising entirely artillery; for the sake of example let’s say a French formation of 3x Artillery batteries. Does the formation just deploy and is therefore able to fire its constituent units once deployed. Or does the commander have to carry out 3 leader actions to commit the 3 batteries?
2) Do artillery need to be deployed before they can be committed via leader action, or can they be committed via leader action directly fro the march (ie. from Ployed status)?
Regards,
Bish

Artillery must always be committed from a Formation Reserve before it can move independently and unlimber.

I don't believe anything stops you from committing an artillery battery from a ployed Formation (3.8.4).
