Hi,

The second paragraph of 6.4.2 (P56) says 'If the results of the Assessment and Status Check do not require or allow the cavalry Formation to evade, retreat [RT], break [BK]' etc.

The example given on P66 (penultimate paragraph) changes it slightly to only those 'required to retreat [RT] or break [BK].' and allows the French cavalry, despite having the evade option, to continue its assault.

Which is correct?

Thanks,

Raphael

Raphael,

Very sorry your question got missed somehow!

If a cavalry Formation retreats [RT], breaks [BK], or evades (by choice or consequence), then its Mass Cavalry Assault ends.

Hope that clears it up and very sorry we didn't get you an answer promptly!
