And I think there is an error in the Schewardino scenario. Russian unit 7 (Knorring's 2nd Cuirassier Division) is marked on the map but is not in the order of battle. We used the formation details from the Borodino scenario assuming this to be an error.

You are correct. This was corrected in subsequent printings of 1812-2.
You are right in using the Borodino listing for Knorring’s troops.
